I suspect there’s more than one path to madness living alone on a farm with 38 sheep, 4 dogs, and assorted wild creatures, but personalizing the weather is probably as direct as most. Most of our snow had melted over the last week, and yesterday, with the temperature creeping over 40º, it wasn’t so hard to start thinking dangerously… It’s the middle of January, but perhaps winter’s winding down this year… I might be able to get used to this climate change thing… And then on cue, a nice dump of snow overnight. I caught myself wondering if I might have triggered it with the previous day’s illicit thoughts — stop!
