I put two bales of hay out yesterday.

I realize that I can have very strong opinions about the relative taste of two similar batches of peanut butter, so I shouldn’t really be surprised if sheep show discriminating taste with hay.  But I am surprised at the magnitude of the difference between two bales produced by the same person on the same day — one almost gone and one barely touched.  The only thing I can figure is that the ignored bale was noticeably dryer than the one they liked.
